In case you somehow missed it, GMC unveiled the reborn Hummer last night. It's an all-electric pickup with three motors, 1000 horsepower, some seriously bold looks, and an equally bold $112,000 price tag. While we know a lot about it from the company's announcement, there's only so much that pre-prepared press images can show us. To fill in the gaps, we suggest watching this detailed walk-around video.

GMC gave Jason Fenske, a Road & Track contributor, exclusive early access to the new Hummer for a video published on his YouTube channel, Engineering Explained. Fenske is given free reign to walk about the car, press buttons, and scope out neat features and Easter eggs. The Edition 1 truck in question has a "Lunar" theme, which means lots of gray tones inside and out. There are also a couple of small design touches, like moon boot foot prints scattered throughout the interior, and an outline of the Sea of Tranquility—the landing point for the first walk on the moon—embedded into the speaker grilles.

Fenske also shows off how the roof panels are removed, and gives us a peak at the front trunk area (it's massive). We're shown some of the truck's suspension capabilities through the infotainment screen, a deep dive into the battery tech, and given an explanation as to why GMC went with just three motors instead of four. (It's because the front axle isn't able to put down any more power than with just one motor in the front).
